Mental Health Therapist – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Provide remote, evidence-based therapy to adult clients aged 18 and older.

• Manage a caseload of 7-20 ongoing therapy and consultation sessions each week.

• Utilize data to inform effective treatment and modify your approach based on client progress.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals as necessary and refer clients when suitable.

• Keep progress notes and documentation in accordance with HIPAA and state regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed in Connecticut as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with adults aged 18 and older.

• At least six months of experience in teletherapy.

• Available for 8-24 hours per week, dedicating 85% of that time to client sessions.

• Available during regular business hours for at least 1 hour per week for the first 6 weeks for training.

• Proficient in conducting clinical assessments (e.g., PHQ-9) to monitor client progress.

• Willing to receive training in clinical assessment, differential diagnosis, and DSM-5 criteria for diagnostic evaluation.

• Experience with an electronic health/medical record system for documenting progress notes, treatment plans, and more.

• Must hold a valid license and maintain good standing with the relevant licensing board.
