Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assisting patients aged 13 and above in California

• Offering psychosocial support and education essential for addressing the mental health needs of individuals, couples, and families

• Providing evidence-based care along with assessment and treatment planning tools to enhance and maintain the continuity of care for patients

• Enabling therapists to operate at the highest level of their license with the backing of our clinical care team

• Partnering with internal teams to create an industry-leading environment

⛳️ Requirements

• Current, active, and unrestricted State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Demonstrated excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling abilities utilizing evidence-based approaches, including but not limited to motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy

• Proven exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Experience with or a willingness to learn and adjust to virtual therapy delivery

• Strong understanding of the psychosocial dimensions of health and illness

• Tech-savvy and proficient in using electronic health record systems while engaging across various platforms

• Solid understanding of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements

• Evidence of strong crisis intervention capabilities

• Prior experience in a mental health clinic or hospital environment

• Completed Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university
