Mental Health Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Carry out clinical intake calls to evaluate member needs, objectives, and suitability for the program.

• Collaborate with Phoenix, our AI Care Specialist, by supervising AI-assisted interactions to ensure clinical quality and safety.

• Provide member support through both synchronous and asynchronous chat platforms.

• Conduct brief and extended video calls with members.

• Track member progress utilizing measurement-based care tools (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7).

• Recognize and address risk signals, including escalation and referral as necessary.

• Document care in accordance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory guidelines.

• Assist in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures to enhance member care operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology.

• Eligibility for PSYPACT or a valid license to practice in California.

• An active, unrestricted license to practice psychology independently.

• A solid background in evidence-based practices (CBT, ACT, DBT).

• Willingness to operate within an AI-native care model, where standards of practice are still evolving.

• Comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment where change is a constant.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Demonstrated capability to build rapport and sustain therapeutic relationships in a remote care context.

• Strong technical skills and the adaptability to quickly learn new platforms.
