Mental Health Group Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Conduct 28 hours of group facilitation each week utilizing Charlie Health’s evidence-based curriculum.

• Review the designated curriculum and lead groups for different age demographics and cohorts.

• Promote client engagement and foster group unity, encouraging a culture of camera-on participation and active involvement.

• Take part in collaborative Treatment Team meetings and bi-weekly Group Supervision sessions with Clinical Leadership.

• Complete client documentation within a 24-hour timeframe, adhering to State and The Joint Commission standards.

• Ensure professional and timely communication via email and Slack with Primary Therapists, Care Coaches, and staff members.

• Deliver psychoeducation and facilitate skill-building for clients facing complex behavioral and emotional challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in a mental health or related discipline (MSW, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, etc.).

• Must currently reside in and possess legal eligibility to work in Oregon.

• Proven proficiency in various modalities (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI).

• Experience in intensive treatment environments.

• Capability to work with a diverse clientele and age groups ranging from 8 to 64 years.

• Ability to conduct engaging and effective virtual sessions.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection is necessary.

• Strong belief in the efficacy of group-based treatment.

• Ability to uphold appropriate professional boundaries.

• Availability to adhere to required group schedules in PST: full-time Monday-Thursday, from 9:00am-7:00pm or 10:00am-8:00pm; various part-time schedules available Monday-Thursday or Friday-Saturday.
