Mental Health Group Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Provide 28 hours of group facilitation each week utilizing Charlie Health’s evidence-based curriculum.

• Review the designated curriculum prior to the commencement of group sessions.

• Conduct groups for various age demographics and cohorts, including Integrative, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour.

• Enhance client engagement and foster group unity, promoting a culture of camera-on participation and active involvement.

• Attend collaborative Treatment Team meetings every Tuesday.

• Engage in bi-weekly Group Supervision with Clinical Leadership.

• Oversee and finalize client documentation within a 24-hour timeframe, adhering to State and The Joint Commission standards.

• Maintain professional and timely communication via email and Slack with Primary Therapists, Care Coaches, and staff members.

• Provide psychoeducation and facilitate skill-building for clients dealing with complex behavioral and emotional issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in a mental health or relevant field (MSW, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, etc.).

• Must currently live in and be legally authorized to work in Oregon.

• Proven proficiency in various therapeutic modalities: DBT, CBT, EMDR, and MI.

• Experience in intensive treatment environments.

• Ability to work with a diverse population and age groups ranging from 8 to 64.

• Capability to conduct engaging and effective virtual sessions.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection is essential.

• Strong commitment to group-based treatment methodologies.

• Ability to maintain suitable professional boundaries.

• Availability for full-time schedules from Monday to Thursday or part-time schedules from Monday to Thursday or Friday to Saturday as needed.
