Mental Health Group Facilitator – Master's Degree Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Fulfill all onboarding prerequisites within two weeks of the start date.

• Monthly check-ins with your designated Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director are required, at least once per month.

• Promptly respond to all email and Slack correspondence within 48 hours.

• Review the curriculum relevant to your group assignment before the group begins.

• Arrive approximately 10 minutes early to the scheduled group session and lead the sessions for the full hour.

• Conduct groups utilizing the current Charlie Health curriculum and best practices.

• Facilitate groups across various age demographics and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour as necessary.

• Encourage client engagement and foster group cohesion, promoting participation and a camera-on culture.

• Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as outlined by Charlie Health best practices.

• Engage in collaborative Therapy Treatment Team meetings (Tuesdays) and Group Supervision (every other Friday) with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, colleagues, and other Clinical Leadership team members.

• Work closely with Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches.

• Maintain professional and prompt communication with all clients, staff, families, agencies, and referral sources.

• Ensure your treatment documentation is completed within the required 24-hour timeframe and meets agency and professional standards as per DHCS and The Joint Commission standards.

• Uphold professional ethics, including maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability to work weeknights (3-8pm MT from Monday to Thursday) and Saturdays.

• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field (refer to examples below).

• Experience in working with diverse age groups in intensive treatment settings.

• Proven proficiency in various treatment modalities, with the ability to thoughtfully integrate them into clinical practice (e.g., DBT, CBT, EMDR; MI certification is a plus).

• A strong belief in and advocacy for group-based treatment alongside individual therapy.

• Skill in facilitating effective and engaging telehealth sessions.

• A reliable high-speed internet connection for client sessions.

• Proficiency in cloud-based communication tools (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox) as well as EMR and outcomes survey software.

• This is a part-time, 1099 contractor position.
