Mental Health Group Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Fulfill all Onboarding requirements within two weeks of your start date.

• Schedule a minimum of one monthly check-in with your designated Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director.

• Respond to all email and Slack communications promptly, within 48 hours of receipt.

• Review the curriculum pertinent to your group assignment prior to the commencement of the group.

• Arrive approximately 10 minutes early for scheduled group sessions and facilitate the entire hour.

• Conduct groups in accordance with Charlie Health's best practices, utilizing the most current curriculum provided.

• Facilitate groups across various age ranges and cohorts, which may include Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour as necessary.

• Promote client engagement and group cohesion throughout the sessions, encouraging participation and maintaining a camera-on culture.

• Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as outlined by Charlie Health's best practices.

• Participate in collaborative Treatment Team meetings (Tuesdays) and Group Supervision sessions (every other Friday) with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers, and other Clinical Leadership team members.

• Collaborate respectfully with the care team, including Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches.

• Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents.

• Ensure that all treatment documentation is completed within the required 24-hour timeframe, meeting agency and professional standards as per DHCS and The Joint Commission.

• Maintain and exemplify professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Availability during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3-8 PM MT from Monday to Thursday) and on Saturdays to accommodate the schedules of adolescent and young adult clients.

• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field is required (refer to the full list below).

• Experience working with youth and young adults is essential.

• Proficient in a range of therapeutic modalities and confident in integrating them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is a plus).

• A passion for group treatment and a proven skill set in conducting group sessions.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Creative and engaging, particularly in a virtual setting!

• Technical proficiency to conduct effective telehealth sessions.

• A reliable WIFI connection is required for client meetings.

• Familiarity with and willingness to utilize cloud-based communication software—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox—alongside EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis.

• This is a part-time 1099 role.
