Mental Health Group Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Complete all onboarding requirements within two weeks of the start date.

• Schedule a monthly check-in with your designated Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, at least once a month.

• Promptly respond to all email and Slack communications within 48 hours of receipt.

• Review the curriculum associated with your group assignment before the group session begins.

• Arrive approximately 10 minutes early for scheduled group sessions and facilitate all groups for the full hour.

• Conduct group sessions following the best practices of Charlie Health and utilize the most current curriculum provided.

• Facilitate groups across various age groups and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour as necessary.

• Encourage client participation and foster a camera-on culture to enhance client engagement and group cohesion throughout the session.

• Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as outlined by Charlie Health best practices.

• Engage in collaborative Treatment Team meetings (Tuesdays) and Group Supervision (every other Friday) with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers, and other Clinical Leadership team members.

• Collaborate respectfully with the care team, including Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches.

• Communicate in a clear, professional, and timely manner with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents.

• Ensure that your treatment documentation is completed within the required 24-hour timeframe and meets agency and professional standards as per DHCS and The Joint Commission standards.

• Uphold and exemplify professional ethics, including maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3-8pm MT from Monday to Thursday) and on Saturdays to accommodate the schedules of our adolescent and young adult clients.

• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field is required (see below for the complete list).

• Experience working with youth and young adults is essential.

• Proficient in a variety of therapeutic modalities and confident in integrating them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, and MI certification is a plus).

• Demonstrated passion for the benefits of group treatment and skills in conducting group sessions.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Creative and engaging, particularly in a virtual setting!

• Technical proficiency to conduct effective telehealth sessions.

• A reliable WIFI connection is necessary when meeting with clients.

• Familiarity with and willingness to utilize cloud-based communication tools—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox—along with EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis.

• This is a part-time 1099 role.
