Mental Health Group Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Complete all onboarding requirements within two weeks of the start date.

• Conduct monthly meetings with your designated Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director at least once a month for necessary check-ins.

• Respond promptly to all email and Slack communications (within 48 hours of receipt).

• Review the curriculum that corresponds with your group assignment prior to the start time of the group.

• Arrive approximately 10 minutes early for scheduled group sessions and facilitate all groups for the full hour.

• Facilitate groups in accordance with Charlie Health's best practices, utilizing the latest assigned curriculum.

• Lead groups across various age ranges and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour as required.

• Promote client engagement and group cohesion during sessions, encouraging participation and fostering a camera-on culture.

• Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as specified by Charlie Health's best practices.

• Take part in collaborative Treatment Team meetings (Tuesdays) and Group Supervision sessions (every other Friday) with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers, and other members of the Clinical Leadership team.

• Work collaboratively and respectfully with the care team, including Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches.

• Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with all clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents.

• Monitor your treatment documentation to ensure that all notes are completed within the required 24-hour timeframe and meet agency and professional standards as per DHCS and The Joint Commission guidelines.

• Maintain and exemplify professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be available during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3-8 PM MT from Monday to Thursday) and on Saturdays to accommodate the schedules of our adolescent and young adult clients.

• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field is required (see below for the complete list).

• Experience working with youth and young adults is essential.

• Proficient in various modalities and confident in integrating them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is a plus).

• Enthusiastic about the advantages of group treatment and skilled in conducting group sessions.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Creative and engaging, particularly in a virtual setting!

• Possess the technical skills necessary to conduct effective telehealth sessions.

• Maintain a reliable WIFI connection when meeting with clients.

• Familiarity with and willingness to utilize cloud-based communication tools—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox—along with EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis.

• This is a part-time 1099 role.
