Mental Health Group Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Fulfill all onboarding obligations within two weeks of your start date.

• Schedule monthly check-ins with your designated Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, at a minimum of once a month.

• Ensure prompt responses to all email and Slack communications within 48 hours of receipt.

• Review the curriculum relevant to your group assignment prior to the group start time.

• Arrive approximately 10 minutes early to the scheduled group session and lead all groups for the full duration of the hour.

• Conduct groups in accordance with Charlie Health best practices while utilizing the most current curriculum provided.

• Facilitate groups for various age ranges and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour as needed.

• Promote client engagement and group unity during sessions, encouraging participation and fostering a culture of being on camera.

• Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as outlined by Charlie Health best practices.

• Join collaborative Treatment Team meetings on Tuesdays and Group Supervision meetings every other Friday with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers, and other Clinical Leadership team members.

• Collaborate respectfully with the care team, including Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches.

• Communicate clearly, professionally, and timely with all clients, staff, families, agencies, and referral sources.

• Ensure your treatment documentation is completed within the required 24-hour timeframe and meets agency and professional standards set by DHCS and The Joint Commission.

• Uphold and exemplify professional ethics, including maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3-8pm MT from Monday to Thursday) and on Saturdays to accommodate our adolescent and young adult clients.

• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field is required (see below for the complete list).

• Experience working with youth and young adults.

• Proficient in various therapeutic modalities and confident in integrating them into your treatment strategies (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is a bonus).

• A strong passion for the advantages of group therapy and skilled in leading group treatment sessions.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Creative and engaging, particularly in a virtual setting!

• Technical capability to conduct effective telehealth sessions.

• Reliable internet connection for client interactions.

• Familiarity with and willingness to utilize cloud-based communication tools—such as Gmail, Slack, Zoom, and Dropbox—along with EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis.

• This is a part-time 1099 role.
