Mental Health Group Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Fulfill all onboarding requirements within two weeks of the start date.

• Conduct monthly meetings with your designated Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, at least once per month for necessary check-ins.

• Ensure timely responses to all email and Slack communications, within 48 hours of receipt.

• Review the curriculum related to your group assignment before the group session begins.

• Arrive approximately 10 minutes early for scheduled group sessions and lead all groups for the full duration of the hour.

• Conduct groups in accordance with Charlie Health best practices, utilizing the most current and assigned Charlie Health curriculum.

• Facilitate groups across various age groups and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour as necessary.

• Promote client engagement and group cohesion during sessions, encouraging active participation and fostering a culture of being on camera.

• Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as outlined by Charlie Health best practices.

• Engage in collaborative Treatment Team meetings (Tuesdays) and Group Supervision (every other Friday) with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers, and other members of the Clinical Leadership team.

• Work collaboratively and courteously with the entire care team, including Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches.

• Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referrals.

• Ensure your treatment documentation is completed within the required 24-hour timeframe and meets agency and professional standards set by DHCS and The Joint Commission.

• Uphold and exemplify professional ethics, including maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3-8pm MT from Monday to Thursday) and on Saturdays to accommodate the schedules of our adolescent and young adult clients.

• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field is required (see below for the complete list).

• Experience in working with youth and young adults.

• Proficient in various treatment modalities and confident in integrating them into your therapeutic approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is a plus).

• Enthusiastic about the advantages of group treatment and skilled in delivering group therapy.

• Ability to function effectively as part of a team.

• Creative and engaging, particularly in a video format!

• Technical competence to conduct effective telehealth sessions.

• A reliable WIFI connection is required for client meetings.

• Familiarity with and willingness to utilize cloud-based communication software—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox—along with EMR and outcome survey software on a daily basis.

• This is a part-time 1099 position.
