Mental Health Group Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.

📋 Description

• Complete all onboarding tasks within two weeks of your start date.

• Have monthly check-in meetings with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, at least once per month.

• Respond to all email and Slack communications in a timely manner, within 48 hours of receipt.

• Review the curriculum related to your group assignment before the group session begins.

• Arrive approximately 10 minutes early for scheduled group sessions and facilitate all groups for the full hour.

• Conduct groups by following Charlie Health's best practices and utilizing the most current curriculum provided.

• Facilitate groups for various age groups and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour as necessary.

• Promote client engagement and group cohesion throughout the sessions, encouraging participation and fostering a camera-on culture.

• Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as outlined by Charlie Health best practices.

• Participate in collaborative Treatment Team meetings (every Tuesday) and Group Supervision (every other Friday) with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers, and other Clinical Leadership team members.

• Work collaboratively and respectfully with the care team, including Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches.

• Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents.

• Monitor your treatment documentation to ensure all notes are completed within the required 24-hour timeframe and meet the standards set by the agency and professional guidelines per DHCS and The Joint Commission.

• Uphold and exemplify professional ethics, including maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

• Other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be available during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3-8pm MT from Monday to Thursday) and on Saturdays to accommodate the schedules of our adolescent and young adult clients.

• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field is required (please see below for the full list).

• Experience working with youth and young adults is essential.

• Well-versed in various modalities and confident in integrating them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, and MI certification are advantageous).

• Passionate about the benefits of group treatment and skilled in conducting group therapy.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Creative and engaging, particularly in virtual settings!

• Possess the technical skills necessary to run effective telehealth sessions.

• A reliable WIFI connection is required when meeting with clients.

• Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication tools—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox—as well as EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis.

• This is a part-time 1099 position.
