This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Fulfill all onboarding requirements within two weeks of your start date.
• Schedule monthly check-ins with your designated Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, at a minimum of once per month.
• Respond to all email and Slack communications in a timely manner, ideally within 48 hours of receipt.
• Review the curriculum relevant to your group assignment prior to the start of the session.
• Arrive approximately 10 minutes early for scheduled group sessions and facilitate the entirety of the hour.
• Conduct group sessions in accordance with Charlie Health best practices, utilizing the most current curriculum provided.
• Facilitate groups that span various age groups and cohorts, including the Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour as needed.
• Promote client engagement and group cohesion during sessions, encouraging participation and fostering a culture of camera-on.
• Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as outlined by Charlie Health best practices.
• Participate in collaborative Treatment Team meetings (Tuesdays) and Group Supervision (every other Friday) alongside your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers, and other members of the Clinical Leadership team.
• Collaborate respectfully with the care team, including Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches.
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referral sources.
• Ensure your treatment documentation is completed within the required 24-hour timeframe, meeting agency and professional standards as set by DHCS and The Joint Commission.
• Uphold and exemplify professional ethics, including maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Availability during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3-8pm MT, Monday to Thursday) and on Saturdays to accommodate our adolescent and young adult clients.
• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field is required (please refer below for the complete list).
• Experience in working with youth and young adults.
• Proficient in various therapeutic modalities and confident in integrating them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is advantageous).
• Enthusiastic about the advantages of group treatment and skilled in conducting group therapy sessions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Creative and engaging, particularly in a virtual setting!
• Possess the technical skills necessary to conduct effective telehealth sessions.
• A reliable WIFI connection is essential for client meetings.
• Familiarity with and willingness to utilize cloud-based communication tools—such as Gmail, Slack, Zoom, and Dropbox—along with EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis.
• This is a part-time 1099 role.
