Mendix Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Convert user stories and business requirements into functional Mendix applications, encompassing domain models, workflows, pages, and security roles.

• Create integrations with both internal and external systems via APIs and database connectors.

• Implement single sign-on solutions utilizing SAML/OIDC.

• Develop reusable modules, widgets, and components in accordance with GSC standards.

• Contribute to a collaborative component library.

• Employ secure-by-design methodologies, role-based access control, and data protection standards.

• Design accessible interfaces that comply with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.

• Write unit and automated tests.

• Engage in code review processes.

• Utilize Mendix Quality Add-ons or comparable tools to manage technical debt.

• Assist with deployment, release management, and third-level production maintenance.

• Generate and update technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.

• 5 years of experience in IT development, including at least 3 years of hands-on work with Mendix.

• Demonstrated delivery of a minimum of two Mendix applications in a production environment, including integration with enterprise systems.

• Familiarity with Mendix 10 or later versions.

• Experience with on-premises or private cloud deployment.

• Proficient in Java and JavaScript for developing custom actions and widgets.

• Experience in Scrum or similar agile methodologies.

• Mendix Advanced Developer certification is mandatory.

• Mendix Expert certification is considered a plus.

• Experience with Mendix AI features, such as GenAI connectors and Maia, is advantageous.

• Proficiency in French is a plus.

• Strong command of the English language.
