Member Experience Specialist – Physician Facing Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Proactively reach out to external physician offices to request, acquire, and follow up on essential medical records needed to assess patient eligibility.

• Maintain ongoing communication with outside physician offices to guarantee the timely acquisition of documentation.

• Accurately handle incoming external referrals, ensuring all documentation is thorough and complies with program standards.

• Directly communicate with patients to confirm clinical providers and relevant information.

• Provide clear updates to patients regarding their medical history (PMH) status and assist them in navigating the next steps of the intake process.

• Submit and monitor daily internal referral requests to Carda physicians for eligibility evaluation.

• Compile and present pertinent patient information in a clear manner to facilitate efficient clinical decision-making.

• Keep organized and current records of all communications and referrals in alignment with regulatory requirements.

• Identify and resolve documentation gaps or workflow delays to ensure a smooth intake process.

• Ensure 100% accuracy in data entry and record management, adhering strictly to HIPAA and privacy regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in administrative roles or healthcare coordination (Experience in Telehealth or referral management is a significant advantage).

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare processes.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and simultaneously track numerous patient cases without losing attention to detail.

• Professional, clear, and courteous communication skills for interactions with physicians, clinical staff, and patients.

• Proven capability to proactively identify challenges in obtaining records and devise innovative solutions to mitigate delays.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize daily tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Comfort in a dynamic startup environment where processes may change and priorities may shift.

• A "detective" mindset—the ability to recognize inconsistencies or missing information in medical records before they escalate into issues.
