Medical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality medical and scientific writing from initial planning and coordination through to the final draft delivery.

• Act as the primary author for standard documents such as clinical study reports and study protocols.

• Summarize findings from clinical research studies.

• Assist in the creation of complex clinical, scientific, and program-level documents, including Investigator's Brochures (IBs), Investigational New Drug applications (INDs), and Marketing Authorization Applications (MAAs).

• Ensure adherence to quality processes and standards for all assigned documents.

• Contribute to identifying best practices, methodologies, and techniques to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Support program management activities, including timeline, budget, and forecast development.

• Represent the department during project launches, reviews, and team meetings.

• Collaborate with both internal and external clients to foster effective communication and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field or an equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

• Over 3 years of comparable and relevant experience.

• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.

• Advantageous experience in scientific writing.

• Strong medical writing capabilities, including grammar, editorial, and proofreading skills.

• Ability to interpret and convey complex data accurately and succinctly.

• Strong administrative, organizational, and planning skills, with a keen attention to detail and quality.

• Capability to work independently while also being an effective team player.

• Proficient oral and written communication skills.

• Good understanding of regulatory documentation and the drug development process.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with client templates, document management systems, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant applications.

• Willingness to undertake occasional domestic and international travel, as well as occasional site location visits.
