Medical Scribe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Documenting real-time patient interactions during virtual or recorded consultations utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) such as Epic, AthenaNet/AthenaHealth, Cerner, or NextGen.

• Precisely capturing patient histories, physical examination findings, diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions.

• Updating and maintaining patient charts, medication lists, allergies, and problem lists.

• Assisting with administrative responsibilities such as templating notes and managing visit summaries.

• Reviewing previous records to provide essential context for current visits.

• Maintaining communication with healthcare providers to ensure clarity and accuracy in documentation.

• Ensuring all documentation adheres to HIPAA regulations and meets both clinical and legal standards.

• Exhibiting strong attention to detail and discretion while handling sensitive patient information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• A minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a medical scribe or in a clinical documentation capacity.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical workflows is essential.

• A degree related to healthcare is highly preferred.

• Proficient in using Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office.

• Experience with EMRs such as Epic, Cerner, or AthenaHealth is an advantage.

• HIPAA Certification is a plus.

• Quick and accurate typing abilities are required.

• Strong attention to detail is necessary.

• Must be organized and highly focused.

• Willingness to work night shifts is required.
