This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
β’ Effectively relay new and essential approved medical information to targeted healthcare professionals (HCPs) at local, regional, or national levels, including decision-makers in vaccine healthcare, national and regional key opinion leaders, relevant professional associations, payer groups, government entities, primary care stakeholders, and other influencers for flu protection in the Netherlands.
β’ Provide accurate, truthful, and scientifically validated information in response to unsolicited medical inquiries from HCPs and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with all relevant ethical, governmental, and Seqirus guidelines, policies, and procedures (e.g., medical inquiries, scientific congress participation, etc.).
β’ Offer product and indication expertise internally to any CSL Seqirus staff (e.g., field force training, creating and updating medical presentations, medical review, and copy clearance, etc.).
β’ Present to pertinent stakeholders in alignment with the medical strategy defined by the Nordic+Benelux, European (EMEA), UK, and Global Medical Affairs teams.
β’ Facilitate communication between HCPs, healthcare organizations (HCOs), decision-makers, and Medical Affairs colleagues.
β’ Support and facilitate CSL Seqirus-sponsored clinical trials, collaborative research, and investigator-initiated research activities, as determined by Medical Affairs and in accordance with Seqirus SOPs (e.g., Seqirus-sponsored research site/investigator interactions, IIR inquiries, etc.).
β’ Assist Medical Affairs in raising awareness and educating all stakeholders in close collaboration with internal functions.
β’ Actively seek customer insights that inform the development of product medical strategies and share these insights with Seqirus as appropriate.
β’ Collaborate closely with the local medical team to ensure that insight generation and engagement with HCPs, particularly KOLs, are documented, shared, and escalated as necessary.
β’ Provide internal product and indication expertise for any Seqirus/CSL colleagues (e.g., field force training, creating and updating medical presentations, medical review, and copy clearance, etc.).
β’ Engage and work collaboratively with Public Affairs, Market Access, Policy, Sales Teams, Customer Services, Communications at a local level, and Medical Affairs teams both regionally within EMEA and globally when required.
β’ Conduct oneself consistently with the CSL Seqirus values and behaviors (Superior performance, innovation, integrity, collaboration, patient-focus).
β’ Ensure adherence to all internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations, including the Code of Practice and financial processes.
β’ Participate in all compliance training within established timelines and according to Code of Practice requirements.
β’ Contribute to the internal signatory/approval process.
β’ A scientific degree as a Medical Doctor (MD) or a PhD in a related life science field (e.g., biology, immunology, infectious diseases, public health, chemistry, etc.).
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience post-training, including at least 2 years in clinical and/or health services education or research, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
β’ Experience in clinical research and/or the pharmaceutical industry as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or in a similar relevant role.
β’ Knowledge of influenza, infectious diseases, epidemiology, vaccines, public health, and the Dutch healthcare system.
β’ Proficiency in both English and Dutch.
β’ Possession of a valid driving license in the Netherlands.
β’ Willingness to travel throughout the Netherlands and internationally as business needs dictate.
