Medical Science Liaison – Transplant / Infectious Diseases

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Identifies and engages with key healthcare professionals (HCPs) within the designated territory to cultivate and enhance relationships while representing the Company's interests.

• Facilitates scientific discussions through individual HCP meetings and small group dialogues regarding the disease state and treatment alternatives within the therapeutic area.

• Organizes and leads advisory boards and additional activities that guide strategic initiatives.

• Works collaboratively with commercial partners in a professional and compliant manner.

• Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., Medical Information, Clinical Development, and Medical Affairs) regarding pertinent clinical information and practice trends impacting the Company's products.

• Appropriately addresses unsolicited inquiries from HCPs following the Company's standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Timely relays HCP interest in lifecycle studies to internal stakeholders.

• Identifies prospects for data generation activities through investigator-initiated research.

• Engages in and successfully completes all mandated training on the Company's SOPs, product knowledge, compliance, and regulatory education pertinent to job responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral degree in a health sciences-related discipline (e.g., Pharm.D., M.D., DNP, or Ph.D.).

• 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience; experience in the therapeutic area is advantageous.

• Established relationships with institutions and/or hospitals within the territory; comprehensive understanding of healthcare and hospital operations.

• Proven history as a scientific and strategic contributor, innovative thinker with a strong drive for success, in addition to being a hands-on tactical performer.

• Ability to thrive in a matrix environment, demonstrating a successful track record of teamwork along with strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; experience in a small company is a plus.

• Possesses business and scientific acumen, evidenced by the ability to communicate complex scientific and clinical data to colleagues and HCPs.

• Capable of delivering high-quality medical education presentations in diverse settings, with the ability to convert this information and data into effective medical dialogue.

• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Pro.

• Travel Requirements: 50% - 70%, including overnight travel.
