Medical Science Liaison – South Central

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish, develop, and nurture collaborative relationships with current and prospective national and regional key opinion leaders, speakers, and investigators through impactful scientific exchange.

• Keep abreast of medical and scientific advancements in Dermatology and related areas by consistently reviewing pertinent literature, tracking competitor activities, networking with experts, and participating in relevant conferences.

• Assist national and regional scientific congresses with KOL engagements, poster/abstract presentations, booth staffing, and company debriefs.

• Provide internal stakeholders with constructive feedback and actionable insights derived from interactions and discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs).

• Identify, engage, and support investigators and site personnel at high-impact, high-performing clinical research sites for Oruka’s clinical development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree in life sciences (PharmD, PhD, MD/DO, MSN, NP/DNP, DMS/PA, or equivalent) is mandatory.

• At least 5 years of relevant clinical and/or industry experience is essential, with a strong preference for experience in Dermatology.

• Previous experience as a field medical science liaison is required, with a preference for candidates with Dermatology experience.

• Routine and substantial experience in a field medical role, particularly working with CRO and clinical operations, is preferred.

• Relevant therapeutic area knowledge, a thorough understanding of the drug development process, clinical trial design, safety monitoring, and the regulatory environment in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Outstanding communication and time management skills.

• Candidates must reside within the designated territory with convenient access to a national/international airport.
