Medical Science Liaison – Northwest

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Cultivate, develop, and sustain collaborative relationships with existing and prospective national and regional key opinion leaders, speakers, and investigators through impactful scientific dialogue.

• Remain updated on medical and scientific advancements in Dermatology and related disciplines by consistently reviewing pertinent literature, tracking competitor activities, networking with specialists, and participating in relevant conferences.

• Assist national and regional scientific meetings with KOL interactions, poster/abstract presentations, booth staffing, and company debriefings.

• Offer internal stakeholders insights and actionable feedback from engagements and discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs).

• Identify, engage, and support investigators and site personnel at high-impact, high-performing clinical research locations for Oruka’s clinical development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree in life sciences (PharmD, PhD, MD/DO, MSN, NP/DNP, DMS/PA, or equivalent) is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent clinical and/or industry experience is required, with a strong preference for experience in Dermatology.

• Previous experience as a field medical science liaison is necessary, with a preference for backgrounds in Dermatology.

• Regular and concrete experience in a field medical role collaborating with CRO and clinical operations is preferred.

• Relevant therapeutic area expertise, a thorough understanding of the drug development process, clinical trial design, safety monitoring, and the regulatory framework in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector.

• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently with minimal direct oversight.

• Outstanding communication and time management capabilities.

• Candidates must reside within the designated territory and have convenient access to a national/international airport.
