This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Drive impactful advancements in clinical practice within the designated territory, resulting in enhanced patient outcomes.

• Engage in scientific discussions with Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and medical experts.

• Oversee and cultivate the territory while executing all pertinent activities in accordance with the medical strategic and tactical plan.

• Utilize scientific knowledge and market insights to establish and strengthen professional relationships with HCPs and other thought leaders.

• Offer support for clinical trials sponsored by the company.

• Collaborate with internal teams to promote clinical practice while prioritizing customer-centric approaches.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the assigned therapeutic area and Novartis products.


⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate degree in science or healthcare is required; a doctoral degree (MD, PhD, DNP, PharmD, etc.) is preferred.

• 0-3 years of experience in a Field Medical role within the pharmaceutical sector or as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is essential OR 3-5 years of relevant experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or in a scientific or clinical environment is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Field Medical-related role within the pharmaceutical industry or as an MSL is preferred OR 5-7 years of pertinent experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or a related scientific or clinical field is required.

• Strong clinical knowledge encompassing pharmacotherapy, treatment guidelines, clinical research methodologies, strategies for engaging medical experts, and an understanding of FDA promotional guidelines, regulations, and ethical standards relevant to the pharmaceutical industry is essential.

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
