This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the medical and scientific authority for Averitas products and associated disease states.
• Participate in peer-to-peer scientific dialogues with Key External Experts (KEEs) and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide precise, balanced, and compliant medical information in response to unsolicited inquiries.
• Collect and relay medical insights and emerging trends to internal teams.
• Collaborate across departments, including Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Training, and other internal partners.
• Identify pathways for scientific collaboration that align with the company's medical goals.
• Develop and deliver scientific education and training programs for both internal and external audiences.
• Support and facilitate scientific meetings, congress activities, and educational initiatives.
• Offer competitive intelligence and insights pertaining to the therapeutic landscape, scientific data, and evolving standards of care.
• Stay informed about relevant clinical guidelines, publications, and scientific advancements.
• Contribute to knowledge generation, scientific storytelling, and the dissemination of medical information.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture that reflects Averitas values and behaviors.
• Exhibit adaptability, accountability, and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Serve as a role model for teamwork, professionalism, and ongoing learning.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), PhD, or MD.
• 2-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), ideally in specialty disease fields.
• Prior experience with pain products and/or medical devices, specialty pharmaceuticals, or biologic product launches is preferred.
• Experience in the introduction of new specialty pharmaceuticals/biologics or indications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency, agility, and the capacity to quickly adapt to changing business needs.
• Clear understanding of industry trends and market insights, including the distinct needs of healthcare stakeholders such as KEEs and payers.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills (both written and verbal), with the capability to engage with customers and senior management.
• High ethical and professional standards in all business interactions and at every level.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%-70%, including overnight stays, as required by business needs.
• Availability to attend all company-sponsored events, meetings, and conferences.
• Currently possess and maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Long-Term Incentive Plan (cash plan) of 20% of base salary.
• Annual performance bonus target of 20% of base salary (contingent on meeting plan requirements).
