This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Consistently showcases in-depth clinical expertise regarding Myriad’s product offerings and the underlying science.
• Remains updated on research and treatment modalities within key therapeutic areas by reviewing relevant published studies associated with Myriad’s product line.
• Participates in scientific conferences to achieve business objectives and enhance understanding of the current healthcare landscape in targeted therapeutic areas.
• Actively pursues knowledge on market trends, challenges, competitive dynamics, and product insights as they relate to specific business functions.
• Develops, nurtures, and sustains relationships with both new and existing key opinion leaders (KOLs), including organizing planned and spontaneous meetings, discussions, abstracts, symposia, and presentations at conferences.
• Engages with the Myriad Medical Affairs community by actively participating in meetings and sharing best practices, insights, and achievements.
• Takes initiative in managing personal professional growth and development.
• Delivers ongoing, current omnichannel educational presentations to enhance awareness of and access to genetic/genomic/pan-omic testing for suitable patients.
• Addresses medical and scientific inquiries and responds to other clinically-related requests for medical information.
• Aids in comprehending and employing standardized processes for evaluating patients’ eligibility for genetic/genomic/pan-omic testing, interpreting test results, and discussing relevant treatment and medical management guidelines.
• Contributes to internal and external research efforts through initiatives such as the Myriad Comprehensive Research Registry, Myriad R&D Clinical Development, investigator-initiated studies/trials, implementation surveys, or EMR integration and data-sharing agreements.
• Builds and maintains relationships with KOLs concerning research, implementation, education, guidelines, and policy formulation.
• Identifies and prioritizes customer engagement and educational opportunities by collaborating with sales, marketing, and medical leadership.
• Attends sales meetings and collaborates with sales managers and marketing teams to convey information that aids in the clinical implementation of Myriad testing as necessary.
• Enhances the sales team's capabilities by providing education on current clinical practice trends, guideline advancements, and appropriate communications regarding Myriad’s products.
• Assists in the selection, onboarding, training, and oversight of Speakers and other Thought Leaders/Advisors/Consultants/KOLs in alignment with business goals.
• Continuously assesses and modifies engagement strategies and sales collaborations to meet customer and organizational objectives.
• Understands, supports, and leads the rollout of new business initiatives.
• Completes administrative duties such as timely logging of customer interactions in internal databases.
• An advanced clinical or doctoral degree is mandatory (e.g., MD/DO, PhD, PharmD, NP, PA, GC).
• Prior clinical experience in behavioral health is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with genetics and delivery models for genetic testing services is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to manage travel 2-3 days per week for field duties and occasional weekends for conferences and internal meetings.
