πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Establish and nurture robust, professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in both academic and community environments.

β€’ Engage KOLs in scientific discussions to enhance understanding of the company's technologies and offerings.

β€’ Initiate engagement with select health system stakeholders (e.g., clinical leaders) to promote wider adoption.

β€’ Create, refine, and deliver scientific content (such as slides, abstracts, and data summaries) to external audiences.

β€’ Lead presentations at regional meetings, Continuing Medical Education (CME) events, and scientific forums.

β€’ Ensure all scientific communications are accurate, clear, and aligned with the company's strategic direction.

β€’ Serve as a reliable scientific resource for the Sales, Marketing, and Market Access teams.

β€’ Provide consistent field insights to shape strategy, including understanding customer needs, treatment trends, and competitive intelligence.

β€’ Assist in the planning and execution of advisory boards and scientific forums.

β€’ Identify opportunities for research collaborations with KOLs.

β€’ Contribute to publication planning and support efforts for data dissemination.

β€’ Actively engage in broader Medical Affairs initiatives and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

β€’ Informally mentor MSL I peers and assist with onboarding and sharing best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Typically a bachelor's degree with approximately 8–12 years of experience (or 6–8 years with a master’s degree / 3–5 years with a PhD/PharmD/MD) in diagnostics or the pharmaceutical industry is required.

β€’ Generally, 2–5+ years of experience in a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or similar medical affairs role.

β€’ Proven experience in engaging KOLs and delivering scientific presentations.

β€’ Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

β€’ Capacity to work independently and effectively manage territory priorities.

β€’ Willingness to travel up to approximately 75%.
