Medical Science Liaison – Gastroenterology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Serve as a reliable scientific partner to prominent external experts by facilitating timely, relevant, and frequent scientific discussions.

• Implement stakeholder engagement strategies to collect valuable data.

• Stay updated on medical and scientific innovations within the therapeutic domain.

• Identify, document, and disseminate insights that enhance comprehension of stakeholder needs.

• Ensure effective communication among internal stakeholders while adhering to applicable regulations.

• Collaborate with external stakeholders to exchange medical and scientific information.

• Build strong, long-lasting relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.

• Provide training for speakers to maintain ongoing scientific support in the field.

• Address unsolicited inquiries for medical information related to supported products.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree in a technical, scientific, or medical discipline (MD, PhD, Pharm D) is preferred, or another relevant life science degree (RN/MS) with a specialty in Rhinology and/or Gastroenterology is required.

• Residency within the designated territory is mandatory.

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in a Medical Science Liaison role, or relevant clinical practice is preferred.

• Candidates with pertinent Immunology clinical experience in a Gastroenterology clinical setting may be considered.

• A solid understanding of medical practice, clinical decision-making, and healthcare systems related to patient care is necessary.

• Capability to interpret key scientific data and adapt this information for educational and research purposes.

• Proven ability to meet educational and research demands through the presentation of cutting-edge scientific/evidence-based data.

• Knowledge of research study design and execution.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

• Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams and overseeing a substantial volume of projects.
