This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, investigators, and key opinion leaders at designated priority academic and community neurology centers.

• Provide precise, balanced, and compliant scientific discussions on disease states, clinical data, and the relutrigine clinical profile, including in-depth conversations regarding rare and genetic epilepsies.

• Assist in pre-launch medical readiness by educating stakeholders about emerging data, evolving treatment paradigms, and considerations for patient identification in SCN2A and SCN8A populations.

• Engage in comprehensive scientific discussions concerning the mechanism of action, genotype–phenotype relationships, and the interpretation of clinical data in rare patient populations.

• Collect, synthesize, and communicate field insights (such as unmet needs, diagnostic challenges, treatment patterns, and clinical inquiries) to shape medical strategy.

• Aid in the identification and engagement of key experts and specialized epilepsy centers under the direction of senior team members.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure coordinated execution of field activities and support for clinical readiness.

• Represent Praxis at scientific congresses and medical meetings, capturing and translating insights into actionable recommendations.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments in rare epilepsy landscapes, clinical data, and emerging scientific advancements.

• Ensure that all field activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or RN).

• Early to mid-career experience in medical affairs, clinical practice, clinical research, or related roles within the biotech/pharma sector.

• Strong capability to learn and convey scientific and clinical information clearly and credibly.

• Proven ability to establish professional relationships with healthcare providers.

• Enthusiasm for developing field-based expertise, encompassing insight gathering and scientific engagement.

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Willingness to travel extensively (~60–80%).

• Experience in neurology or CNS disorders is preferred.

• Familiarity with payer/market access concepts is a plus.
