This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Stakeholder Management: Develop and nurture scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, researchers, and public health stakeholders.
• Scientific Engagement: Convey epidemiological, clinical, and real-world data related to pneumococcal disease and Vaxcyte’s candidate vaccine.
• Evidence Generation Support: Assist with investigator-initiated studies and clinical trial recruitment in vaccine research as appropriate.
• Insight Collection and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collect and disseminate insights from the field regarding the pneumococcal disease landscape, vaccine data requirements, and recommendation scenarios.
• Education and Engagement: Represent the organization at scientific meetings, conferences, and stakeholder events.
• Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and regulatory guidelines in all field-related activities.
• An advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MPH) in life sciences, immunology, or public health is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or infectious disease.
• In-depth knowledge of immunology and vaccine development.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of addressing both scientific and public health audiences.
• Travel: MSL positions are field-based and necessitate considerable travel, which may fluctuate based on the assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
