Medical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• The MSL will create and implement a territory engagement plan that forges relationships with key external stakeholders and aligns with Oruka’s medical strategy.

• Establish, nurture, and sustain collaborative relationships with existing and prospective national and regional key opinion leaders, speakers, and investigators through impactful scientific dialogue.

• Remain updated on medical and scientific advancements in Dermatology and related disciplines by consistently reviewing relevant literature, tracking competitor activities, networking with experts, and participating in pertinent conferences.

• Assist national and regional scientific congresses through KOL engagement, poster/abstract presentations, booth staffing, and company briefings.

• Supply internal stakeholders with feedback and actionable insights derived from interactions and discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs).

• Identify, engage, and support investigators and site personnel at high-impact, high-performing clinical research sites for Oruka’s clinical development initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree in life sciences (PharmD, PhD, MD/DO, MSN, NP/DNP, DMS/PA or equivalent) is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical and/or industry experience is essential, with a strong preference for experience in Dermatology.

• Previous experience as a field medical science liaison is crucial, with a preference for Dermatology experience.

• Practical and significant experience in a field medical role involving collaboration with CROs and clinical operations is preferred.

• In-depth therapeutic area knowledge, a comprehensive understanding of the drug development process, clinical trial design, safety monitoring, and the regulatory landscape in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sectors.

• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Outstanding communication and time management skills.

• Candidates must reside within the applicable territory, ensuring convenient access to a national/international airport.
