Medical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Build and nurture scientific relationships with oncology healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs) within a specified territory.

• Provide precise, balanced, and clinically pertinent education regarding Natera’s oncology molecular diagnostics and clinical data.

• Implement territory plans that align with Medical Affairs priorities promptly and effectively.

• Gather and relay field insights, including oncology treatment trends, unmet clinical requirements, and competitive dynamics.

• Address unsolicited medical inquiries in a timely, compliant, and scientifically sound manner.

• Assist in executing Medical Affairs initiatives, such as advisory boards and medical education programs.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of oncology disease states, clinical data, and the changing diagnostics landscape.

• Collaborate with commercial and clinical teams to ensure organizational alignment for patient care while upholding scientific integrity.

• Ensure that all field activities adhere strictly to company policies and external healthcare regulations.

• Support and facilitate clinical trial and research initiatives at academic institutions and regional study sites.

• Take ownership of field execution by accurately monitoring territory engagement and documenting actionable clinical insights.

• Travel 60-70% throughout the territory for clinical engagements and conferences.

• Quickly adapt to emerging scientific and clinical demands across the oncology portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced healthcare or scientific degree is preferred (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., D.N.P.), with a minimum of a Master's degree required.

• Previous Medical Affairs or MSL experience in oncology or molecular diagnostics is preferred.

• Must reside within the designated territory.
