Medical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Identifies, establishes connections with, and cultivates professional relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.

• Provides support for research initiatives throughout development and assists clinical site investigators.

• Acts as a liaison for healthcare professionals interested in conducting investigator-initiated research.

• Participates in scientific discussions in response to inquiries from healthcare professionals.

• Clearly conveys relevant scientific and clinical information pertaining to the therapeutic area to healthcare professionals and researchers.

• Leverages scientific resources to deliver impactful presentations in diverse settings.

• Offers accurate and impartial assessments of community needs to senior management.

• In accordance with PhRMA guidelines, supports company-sponsored research, investigator-initiated studies, and publications.

• Assists in the planning and execution of advisory boards.

• Keeps updated on emerging scientific literature and clinical data.

• Contributes to congress and conference strategies, providing scientific support and communicating scientific insights.

• Adheres fully to all company SOPs, regulatory standards, and applicable laws.

• Completes additional responsibilities promptly as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in science or clinical fields (e.g., MD, DO, Pharm.D., PhD, NP, PA).

• Preferably 5+ years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison in the field.

• Experience in rare diseases or prior work in hepatology and/or gastroenterology is desirable.

• Ability to comprehend and effectively communicate scientific information.

• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently, up to 60% overnight, and possess a valid driver’s license.

• Proficient in advanced computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and eager to learn new applications.

• Exceptional organizational skills.

• Strong business acumen.

• Experience with product launches is preferred.
