This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as a committed extension of the client's Medical Affairs team in support of a treatment for HAE.

• Facilitate scientific discussions, engage with stakeholders, and provide medical information assistance throughout Quebec and the Maritimes.

• Establish and nurture strategic peer-to-peer connections with key Health Care Providers within the designated area.

• Offer reliable and impartial scientific information.

• Identify and implement the strategic Medical Affairs Plan.

• Assist with home office medical operations.

• Collaborate with colleagues from diverse functions.

• Acquire and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of products and the latest medical/scientific research and literature.

• Create a virtual Medical Affairs presence via long-term scientific relationships with thought leaders, the medical community, and patient organizations.

• Deliver virtual medical/scientific presentations to both internal and external audiences.

• Provide internal stakeholders with insights and feedback from virtual interactions with HCPs.

• Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical proficiency in rare disease therapeutic areas.

• Review scientific literature and participate in scientific and key technical conferences.

• Address and document unsolicited inquiries for scientific information, including inquiries about products in development.

• Share expertise in clinical and value-based communications, publications, conference data, educational materials, and internal training resources.

• Support clinical initiatives such as site identification, feasibility assessments, trial recruitment, registry management, and presentation of approved data when necessary.

• Comply with corporate and healthcare compliance regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced scientific degree is preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, MSc, or equivalent).

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential.

• Over 3 years of MSL experience is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with rare diseases, specialty care, or complex therapeutic environments is preferred.

• Proven ability to establish credibility with HCPs, KOLs, and key healthcare stakeholders.

• Excellent scientific communication and presentation abilities.

• Knowledge of the regional healthcare landscape and cultural alignment within Quebec's healthcare communities.

• Experience with virtual external engagement is preferred.

• Commitment to adhering to all required regulatory guidelines.
