Medical Science Liaison, Associate

📋 Description

• Identify, cultivate, and sustain robust relationships with KOLs, academic institutions, community centers, and healthcare professionals in pertinent focus areas.

• Engage in significant peer-to-peer interactions with the relevant therapeutic community (e.g., hematologists, dermatologists, hepatologists, rare disease community).

• Act as a scientific authority and resource, delivering precise support to both internal and external stakeholders, along with timely updates on Disc’ clinical data, ongoing research, and programs.

• Provide internal teams with feedback and actionable insights derived from interactions with KOLs and healthcare professionals.

• Support company-sponsored trials, investigator-initiated trials (IITs), or collaborative research efforts.

• Conduct scientific presentations and training sessions for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Assist in organizing regional advisory boards as needed and present at advisory board meetings within your designated territory.

• Foster a trustworthy and collaborative relationship with cross-functional colleagues.

• Focus on achieving results and demonstrate accountability in key medical initiatives.

• Comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines, ensuring that all activities are performed ethically and within legal frameworks.


⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree in Clinical/Science or professional credentials are required (PhD, MD, PharmD, MSc).

• 5–8 years of relevant industry experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or in a similar capacity, with a mandatory background in dermatology; experience in hematology is highly preferred.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capability to convey complex scientific concepts to varied audiences effectively.

• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate proficiently with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.

• Must possess intellectual curiosity, professionalism, and adaptability.

• Willingness to travel extensively to interact with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and attend scientific conferences.

• Strong analytical capabilities, particularly in understanding and interpreting scientific and clinical research and literature.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems is essential.
