Medical Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive medical and operational oversight for the complete range of medical review activities that support global pharmacovigilance.

• Perform medical assessments of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSR), ensuring submission readiness and quality evaluation.

• Supervise ICSR coding standards to guarantee the uniform application of coding conventions.

• Offer medical expertise and assistance for Benefit-Risk activities and safety strategies as delegated.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during internal audits, vendor assessments, and regulatory inspections.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the medical review process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in pharmacovigilance and drug safety within the pharmaceutical or Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry.

• Proficient understanding of MedDRA and WHO Drug coding principles and their application to the quality and reporting of ICSR.

• Desired experience in operational oversight and/or leading cross-functional processes, which includes vendor supervision and performance evaluation.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to varied audiences and at different organizational levels.

• Self-driven with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the capability to promote continuous improvements while developing a diverse global Pharmacovigilance team.

• Capacity to lead, manage, and execute intricate projects independently.
