This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Request medical records and billing documentation from healthcare providers.
• Follow up on pending medical record and billing requests.
• Conduct balance checks and verify outstanding medical balances.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to subrogation.
• Ensure accurate documentation, records, and status updates are maintained.
• Communicate effectively with medical providers, insurance representatives, clients, and internal legal staff.
• Monitor requests until completion and proactively resolve any delays.
• Identify and escalate issues such as missing documentation or discrepancies.
• Assist with general administrative workflows concerning personal injury cases.
• Support pre-settlement tasks, including requesting reductions, obtaining final subrogation information, and verifying balances.
• Aid in property damage claims for motor vehicle accident cases, covering vehicle repairs, rentals, replacement vehicles, and related claim coordination.
• Previous experience at a U.S.-based personal injury law firm is strongly preferred.
• Experience with medical records retrieval and provider follow-up is essential.
• Familiarity with medical billing, balance verification, and associated documentation is required.
• Understanding of personal injury case workflows is necessary.
• Experience in communicating with medical providers, insurance companies, and clients is important.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are needed.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation abilities are essential.
• Comfort in making outbound calls and persistently following up on outstanding requests is expected.
• Ability to manage multiple open requests and follow-ups simultaneously is crucial.
• Strong organizational and task-management skills are required.
• Experience in supporting motor vehicle accident cases is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is advantageous.
• Familiarity with legal case management systems is preferred.
• Comfortable navigating medical records portals and provider systems is necessary.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office is required.
• Experience using VoIP or phone systems for outreach to providers and clients is beneficial.
• Ability to quickly learn client-specific legal and case management platforms is important.
• Must be proactive, persistent, highly organized, and comfortable managing time-sensitive administrative workflows.
