This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Oversee a substantial volume of Social Security disability case responsibilities, deadlines, and priorities.
• Examine client files, medical and legal documents, forms, and records; pinpoint essential details and missing information; ensure precise case documentation.
• Engage empathetically with clients who are facing significant physical or mental health challenges.
• Assist in de-escalating challenging client interactions and clearly and professionally explain case processes, expectations, updates, and difficult outcomes after receiving training.
• Follow up with Social Security Administration offices and other relevant parties to secure records, information, or clarification.
• Collaborate with attorneys and team members regarding case modifications, upcoming hearings, urgent developments, and subsequent steps.
• Investigate inquiries using client documentation, Social Security resources, and approved internal guidance.
• Take part in training and shadowing opportunities to enhance knowledge of Social Security disability procedures and client communication strategies.
• Applicants must reside in LATAM or the Caribbean.
• Must possess a Windows-based computer; Mac devices are not supported.
• A completed college education is necessary; the field of study is flexible.
• A minimum of 2 years of consistent recent professional work experience is preferred, ideally in legal services, disability claims, insurance, healthcare, or case management.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Exceptional reading comprehension, meticulous attention to detail, and accuracy with forms, records, medical information, and deadlines.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving abilities, curiosity, and resourcefulness.
• Capability to excel in a high-volume, task-oriented, deadline-driven environment and calmly adjust priorities when urgent matters arise.
• Empathy, emotional resilience, professionalism, and comfort in managing sensitive, personal, or challenging client conversations.
• Strong teamwork, dedication to follow-through, integrity, and readiness to assist colleagues.
• Must accurately represent skills, experience, education, and professional credentials listed on the resume and provide genuine examples during interviews.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and experience in reviewing medical or legal documents is a plus.
• Previous exposure to Social Security disability matters or SSA processes is a plus.
