Medical Interpreter, Bosnian – English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

📋 Description

• Handle calls professionally, following the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during conversations.

• Deliver messages accurately and thoroughly, without adding, omitting, or substituting any content.

• Maintain the highest standard of customer service throughout the interpreting process.

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise interpretation.

• Adhere to company standards and complete internal training requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional remote interpreters (OPI/VRI) are required.

• Familiarity with healthcare and medical terminology is essential.

• Must comply with dress code standards for video remote interpreting.

• A high-speed, private, and secure internet connection is necessary.

• Minimum download speed of 10 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps is required.

• A computer with at least Windows 10 operating system, dual-core, 2 GHz processor is mandatory.

• A minimum of 8 GB RAM is required.

• A noise-cancelling, wired headset with a built-in microphone is essential (no wireless/Bluetooth headsets).
