Medical Imaging Field Engineer – MR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Responsible for servicing MR equipment in the Sarasota, FL region.

• Installing, diagnosing issues, repairing, and conducting preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthineers equipment.

• Providing prompt and effective repairs along with adequate training for operators to ensure optimal system efficiency, leading to enhanced customer satisfaction.

• Overseeing financial performance within the territory through effective inventory management, time management, and timely closure of service calls.

• Managing company resources including a company vehicle, mobile phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.

• Building and nurturing strong business relationships with customers and colleagues.

• Accurately executing necessary administrative tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma.

• Technical degree, military training, or similar relevant training is preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience in complex electro-mechanical systems, or as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.

• A valid driver's license, ability to drive independently during the day and night, and a clean driving record are required.

• Proficient in using tools and service testing equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.).

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Knowledge and experience in performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
