This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for servicing Imaging Equipment in the Northern Michigan region.

• Your duties will include installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and conducting preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer locations with minimal oversight.

• You'll ensure timely and effective repairs while also providing adequate training to operators to guarantee optimal system performance, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction.

• Managing financial performance within your territory is essential, with goals to meet or exceed budget targets for revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.

• It is crucial to manage the expiration dates of all tools and test equipment to ensure that no overdue calibration test equipment is utilized or maintained in the field, and that the use of tools and tests is documented on eFSR.

• You will oversee company assets such as a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.

• Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with customers and colleagues, while accurately performing necessary administrative tasks, is a key aspect of your role.

• You will provide mentorship to other Customer Service Engineers (CSEs) on all competencies and responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma is required; a technical Associates Degree or equivalent is preferred.

• Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment is necessary, along with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

• Familiarity with all essential network applications and tools (including but not limited to eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, and NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools) is required.

• You should be able to locate, read, and comprehend documents related to installation, set-up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional descriptions.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments is necessary.

• A valid driver's license, the ability to drive independently both day and night, and a good driving record are mandatory.
