Medical Imaging Field Engineer 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for servicing XP Imaging Equipment in Houston, TX.

• Your duties will include installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and conducting preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer locations with minimal supervision.

• You will oversee financial performance within your territory, ensuring that revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management meet or exceed budgetary expectations.

• Manage company assets, which include a company vehicle, mobile phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.

• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with customers and colleagues, while accurately performing necessary administrative tasks.

• Provide mentorship to other Customer Service Engineers (CSEs) on all competencies and responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma is required; a technical associate's degree or equivalent is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing imaging instruments is necessary.

• Proficiency in using tools and service test equipment is required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of an established team.

• Familiarity with all essential network applications and tools (including but not limited to eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools) is crucial.

• Ability to locate, read, and comprehend documents related to installation, setup, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional descriptions.

• A valid driver's license, the ability to drive independently both day and night, and a good driving record are mandatory.

• Strong technical knowledge in instrument systems, including mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology, along with experience in electronics, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
