This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Perform troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment with minimal supervision.
• Deliver exceptional and effective service to Beckman Coulter’s clients, as well as provide technical training on products.
• Keep precise logs of customer service and maintain internal service records.
• Order necessary repair parts while adhering to established cycle times.
• Utilize business systems such as OBI, Sales Force, and SharePoint for Service Call Planning and to support team objectives.
• Engage with various levels of internal and external customers, recognizing and addressing their specific needs.
• Promote teamwork by assisting in the training of new Field Service Engineers.
• Associate degree in a technical field (such as biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering) or equivalent military experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
• Practical experience with troubleshooting complex systems.
• Willingness to travel – 100% travel required, including some overnight stays.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Candidates should be capable of frequently bending, stooping, twisting, turning, crouching/crawling, pushing/pulling, and sitting/standing for extended periods.
• Candidates must also be able to reach at, above, and below shoulder level, flex/extend their neck, and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity.
