This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Service AX/XP Imaging Equipment in the Palo Alto, CA region.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer locations with minimal oversight.
• Provide timely and effective repair services.
• Educate operators to ensure optimal system functionality and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee financial performance within the territory, focusing on revenue generation, expense management, and inventory oversight.
• Manage company assets, including a company vehicle, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Accurately perform necessary administrative tasks.
• Test, repair, and maintain capital medical equipment.
• A minimum of a high school diploma; a technical Associate's Degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in servicing, performing preventative maintenance, and modifying medical imaging equipment at client locations.
• Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in using tools and service testing equipment.
• General knowledge of electricity, power supplies, and grounding principles.
• Proficiency in network applications and tools, such as eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, and the NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools.
• 3–5+ years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer/biomedical engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• A valid driver's license in the state of residence, with the ability to drive independently day and night, and a clean driving record.
• Capability to work independently as well as within an established team environment.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, walk, climb ladders/stepstools, bend, twist, squat, stand, perform high-reach and fine grasping manipulations, and work alone.
• Good vision.
• Excellent judgment in managing customer relations and company resources.
• Competence in mechanics, electrical systems, chemistry, and software technology.
• Experience with electronic systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Must meet applicable client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include identification, background checks, drug screenings, immunizations, TB testing, and healthcare training.
• Must be capable of working with controlled technology in compliance with US export control laws.
