This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the clinical strategy and evidence development for melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancers, and pan-tumor immunotherapy indications.
• Collaborate extensively with clinical development, medical affairs, and commercial teams to convert emerging evidence into impactful clinical practice applications.
• Work with key opinion leaders (KOLs), cooperative groups, and academic researchers to validate and broaden clinical use cases for ctDNA-based diagnostics in immuno-oncology.
• Offer field-facing education and strategic advice to healthcare providers, payers, and advocacy organizations regarding the clinical utility, interpretation, and implications of MRD and response monitoring in immune-treated populations.
• Recognize and mitigate barriers to adoption by aligning evidence generation, messaging, and stakeholder engagement with changing standards of care and health system requirements.
• Act as the medical and scientific representative for skin and immuno-oncology initiatives, conveying clinical utility, study findings, and product value to external experts and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to create educational materials, medical content, and scientific training for healthcare professionals and internal teams.
• Provide scientific leadership during advisory boards, symposia, and investigator meetings.
• Represent Natera at national and international oncology and immunotherapy conferences, building relationships with key opinion leaders in melanoma and IO.
• Engage in clinical trial design, data analysis, and publication strategy pertaining to ctDNA applications in melanoma and other immune-responsive solid tumors.
• Identify and nurture partnerships with academic and cooperative groups to promote clinical validation and translational research in skin and pan-tumor immuno-oncology.
• MD or D.O. degree with board certification in Medical Oncology (mandatory).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in oncology, with clinical or research experience in melanoma, skin cancers, or immunotherapy (preferred).
• Strong background in publications or clinical trials in immuno-oncology or translational oncology research (preferred).
• Associate or full Medical Director designation, depending on experience.
