
Medical Director β Radiation Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
β’ Assist with Oncology initiatives across the organization
β’ Manage utilization review and quality assurance, including oversight of predetermination reviews and claim determinations
β’ Contribute to the implementation of medical policies
β’ Offer expertise in clinical practices, coding, and reimbursement
β’ Lead case management when required
β’ Engage in the development, implementation, and assessment of clinical and medical programs
β’ Enhance medical management programs to meet member needs throughout the continuum of care
β’ Provide clinical knowledge and business guidance to support medical management programs through collaborative clinical team efforts
β’ Serve as a liaison between business and clinical teams and network providers and facilities
β’ Participate in a rotation for weekends, holidays, and on-call duties
β’ M.D. or D.O. with a current, active medical license in good standing from a U.S. state
β’ Board certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association
β’ Eligible to obtain additional state licensure as necessary
β’ Minimum of 3 years of related radiation oncology experience in a patient care or managed care environment after completing residency
β’ Willingness to travel 1-2 times per quarter for team or client-related meetings
