This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
β’ Create educational curricula for providers that encompass value-based clinical workflows, strategies for reducing utilization, quality metrics, member experience, health equity and disparities, as well as effective risk adjustment and coding practices.
β’ Develop educational materials and strategies tailored for providers at different stages of readiness for transformation.
β’ Collaborate with both internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs), such as medical directors, and teams focused on quality and risk adjustment, to gather necessary materials, insights, and strategies for integration.
β’ Work in partnership with the Strategic Initiatives Group (SIG) and its various work-streams to ensure that learnings and strategies are effectively integrated.
β’ Conduct research to incorporate leading evidence-based practices from global, national, and state levels.
β’ Utilize the results from Voice of Provider surveys and Population Health surveys to guide this initiative.
β’ Establish a provider transformation evaluation process to benchmark and conduct interval evaluations.
β’ Collaborate with enterprise partners to identify and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) for inclusion in partner-facing initiatives aimed at driving changes within our value-based payment (VBP) and fee-for-service (FFS) partner portfolio.
β’ Investigate innovative transformation practice models and programs for inclusion in partner playbooks to enhance performance.
β’ Collaborate with network facilities and providers to design and implement initiatives aimed at improving quality, managing costs, and enhancing performance.
β’ Form multidisciplinary teams to engage partners in transformation efforts, including interactions with transformation coaches, clinical collaboration calls, and special KPI projects.
β’ Act as a physician subject matter expert for projects related to transformation and healthcare value across the organization, including clinical performance measurement, predictive analytics, strategic initiatives, medical economics, and risk adjustment.
β’ Design, update, implement, and review biannual population health surveys for value-based partners.
β’ Train the value-based team on interpreting clinical insights reports and effectively communicating messages to partners.
β’ Research, design, update, and implement a value-based quality program for each program year.
β’ Must possess a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
β’ Requires a minimum of 10 years of clinical experience in a patient-centric or value-based setting; NCQA certification is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of medical management experience in a managed care environment is required.
β’ Physician leadership experience within integrated delivery systems, including financial accountability, is necessary.
β’ Experience in managing both physicians and non-physician staff is required.
