Medical Director – Neurology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee medical monitoring and provide strategic medical guidance for international clinical trials

• Act as a primary medical liaison for sponsors, study teams, and investigator sites

• Assist in the development of protocols, study designs, safety strategies, and other clinical documentation

• Analyze clinical and safety data, including adverse events, protocol deviations, and ongoing risk evaluations

• Offer medical expertise and training to project teams while ensuring scientific integrity during study execution

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to proactively recognize risks and enhance study outcomes

• Aid in regulatory safety reporting and pharmacovigilance efforts

• Establish strong client relationships through reliable scientific and medical leadership

• Participate in business development initiatives, including proposals, bid presentations, and client meetings

• Provide mentorship and support to colleagues, promoting a cooperative, high-performing team environment

• Willingness to travel up to 20% is required

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or an equivalent medical degree from an accredited medical institution

• Board-certified or Board Eligible Neurologist

• Significant experience in adult patient care

• Strong clinical knowledge in neurodegenerative diseases

• Preferred experience as a physician in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, Medical Monitor, or clinical trial investigator

• Encouragement for physicians from clinical practice or academia with a keen interest in moving into clinical research and drug development to apply

• Proven enthusiasm for advancing innovative treatments and contributing to therapies for patients with neurological conditions

• Ability to travel up to 20% is necessary
