Medical Director Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Sharing insights about a "day-in-the-life" as an expert engaged with data in these fields to compile regulatory submissions.

• Outlining common tasks or challenges where AI could enhance your workflows.

• Identifying and detailing internal pharmaceutical systems frequently utilized for standard procedures.

• Generating or reviewing reference ground-truth artifacts for evaluation purposes - including reports, data files, modules, etc.

• Identifying and incorporating realistic sources of variance or data corruption in study datasets.

• Detecting and rectifying discrepancies in data quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector, preferably with a sponsor.

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree is mandatory, with board certification being desirable.

• Background in the Oncology therapeutic area is advantageous.

• Experience in leading or significantly contributing to the design of clinical study protocols, including endpoint selection and study design rationale.

• Strong working knowledge of clinical trial methodologies across Phase I–IV studies.

• Proven experience collaborating across various functions, including biostatistics, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and data management teams.

• Experience serving as a Medical Monitor, including safety oversight and clinical data evaluation.

• Familiarity with protocol amendments and lifecycle management of clinical trial documentation.
