Medical Director – Clinical Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the formulation and implementation of Cigna Healthcare’s strategy for high-risk individuals and those with intricate care requirements.

• Convert clinical and business priorities into actionable strategic roadmaps.

• Oversee the creation of scalable clinical programs tailored for high-risk and complex patient populations.

• Spearhead the development of digital and AI-driven solutions for high-risk members.

• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Data, Clinical Operations, Pharmacy, and Analytics teams to facilitate execution.

• Leverage data, analytics, claims insights, and clinical trends to uncover opportunities.

• Establish performance measurement frameworks, including KPIs related to clinical outcomes.

• Propel process enhancements and improvements to the operating model.

• Coordinate with stakeholders across a matrixed organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Medical License in the respective State (MD/DO).

• Current Board Certification in a specialty recognized by ABMS or AOA.

• At least 3 years of clinical practice experience.

• Proven experience in strategy formulation and implementation for healthcare organizations.

• Background in developing clinical programs and successfully executing them from conception to implementation.

• Strong business and/or consulting background.

• Robust business and financial understanding.

• Proficient in utilizing analytics, data, and performance insights.
