Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Acting as the Medical Director, you will lead our clinical operations, evidence generation, and initiatives in provider engagement and education.

• Supervising our clinical operations team responsible for planning and executing all clinical studies.

• Directing the evidence generation team that creates, publishes, and advocates for scientific evidence pertaining to NavDx.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver evidence-based educational content on the clinical advantages of NavDx testing.

• Developing multi-year evidence generation plans that align with the Company’s strategic goals.

• Guiding the formulation of clinical strategies to integrate Naveris’ technologies into standard medical practices.

• Leading cross-functional teams to produce clinical project plans complete with milestones and reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: M.D., D.O., or M.D./Ph.D. with a valid license to practice medicine in the United States (mandatory).

• Preference for candidates eligible to obtain valid medical licenses in Massachusetts and North Carolina.

• Strongly preferred: Board Certification in Pathology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Otolaryngology, Gynecologic Oncology, or Colorectal Surgery.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in direct patient care, including training and fellowship, specifically in oncology.

• Proven history of scientific and clinical publications in prestigious journals.

• Comprehensive understanding of clinical research principles, practices, and adherence to GCP and ICH Guidelines is essential.

• Industry experience is preferred, particularly in molecular diagnostics, liquid biopsy, or other oncology-focused companies.

• Experience engaging with Medicare, commercial insurance, and other stakeholders in the market access and payor community would enhance a candidate's profile for this position.

• Experience with high-complexity CLIA laboratories specializing in genomic testing technologies will also set apart exceptional candidates.
