Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Director to oversee and coordinate medical management, quality improvement, and credentialing activities for the business unit.

• Provide medical leadership across all aspects of utilization management, cost containment, and medical quality enhancement initiatives.

• Conduct medical review tasks related to utilization review, quality assurance, and the assessment of complex, controversial, or experimental medical services.

• Facilitate the successful execution of performance improvement initiatives for capitated providers.

• Aid the Chief Medical Director in formulating and establishing goals and policies aimed at enhancing the quality and cost-effectiveness of care and services for members.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO with no restrictions.

• Board Certified Physician.

• Must hold a license in New Hampshire.

• Experience in Utilization Management and familiarity with quality accreditation standards is preferred.

• Coursework in Health Administration, Health Financing, Insurance, and/or Personnel Management is advantageous.

• Experience in treating or managing care for a culturally diverse population is preferred.
